#1 What is an "Event"?
Previous participants have called it:
- "A Scavenger Hunt"
- "An Alternate Reality Game"
- "An excuse to get shitfaced"
- "The only time I get to see all my pals"
- "The best day of summer"
At this point, even we don't know what it is.
Over 4 years of running the event, we've drawn inspiration from various sources, such as:
- Gameshows
- Challenge Content (old Mr Beast, Sidemen)
- ARGs: Cicada3301, Local58
- The City of Glasgow
- "The Lachy Doo"
#2 Rules & Format
Whilst not finalised, the rules & format are similar to last years event.
- Teams of 5 (6 if needed)
- Film yourself completing challenges
- Sets of challenges at different locations
- Being creative & funny helps you win!
- Anything goes*
The full set of rules can be found here! (TODO!)However... there is ONE core change this year. We will be running this as a charity event!
Concrete details soon, but the premise is that winning teams will get to decide the charities the raised funds go to.
